AIRR Protocol (operated by Epoq, Inc.) keeps cookie use to a minimum. We do not run advertising, marketing, or analytics cookies on this site.
What we set
We only set the following category of cookie:
Strictly-necessary: authentication
If you sign in to the gated participants area, our authentication provider stores a session token in your browser (cookie or local storage) so you stay signed in between pages. Without it the sign-in flow cannot work. This is exempt from consent under GDPR/ePrivacy as a strictly-necessary cookie.

What we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No analytics or behavior-tracking cookies (no Google Analytics, no pixels).
- No social-network tracking cookies.
The banner
When you first visit the site you may see a small notice at the bottom of the page confirming the above. Dismissing it stores a single small flag in your browser’s local storage so we don’t show it again. That flag is not shared with anyone.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. If you clear the authentication cookie you will be signed out of the participants area and will need to sign in again.
